i have paint shop pro X2 ,
i cant find a focal black and white button .

how do i do it ?

to do similar effect in psp, select area you want color to remain with round selection tool, invert selection, feather edges about 10 pixels, and then desaturate outer area,

you do have more options to select with lasso tool, any object, or group of objects, and desaturate remaining areas,
~with layers duplicate image, desaturate layer, erase selected areas from&w, color shows through,
~and history tools as well to erase from b&w layer, and colorize other layers, and adjust hue saturation,

focal black and white is usually a preset option in program s like picasa or online tool like picnik
