Unique and Inimitable Chanel J12 Watch for Only Watch 2009

Only Watch is a charity auction of unique watches created by many of the most important watch brands in Switzerland. This exceptional event is held every two years in Monaco during the Monaco Yacht Show and is under the patronage of HSH Prince Albert 11. All the proceeds from Only Watch go to support research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This year collaborated with Patrizzi & Co and the Monaco Yacht Show; the charity auction will take place on September 24th. It is the first time for Chanel to participate this great event, so a unique and inimitable Chanel watch, J12, has been created for the Only Watch event.

Philippe Mougenot says, “The watch that we have created especially for the Only Watch event is a J12 model in white ceramic equipped with an automatic chronograph movement. With a case measuring 41 mm, the bezel is set entirely with baguette-cut diamonds and pink sapphires. Twelve baguette-cut diamonds act as the markers on the dial, while the crown and push-pieces are set with pink sapphires. This watch is a true illustration of Chanel’s twin vocation in watchmaking and jewelry.” From the design phase to the final assembly process, the Chanel teams go in for perfection in every detail. Chanel has chosen baguette-cut gem quality pink sapphires as they are the symbol of peace, serenity, purity, and baguette-cut diamonds representing the greatest value for the smallest volume. A prestigious jeweler and watchmaker, Chanel combines boldness, watchmaking expertise and high jewelry mastery to perfection. No doubt this eye candy watch will attract a great many watch lovers.
