I just went out with this new girl I met a few weeks ago on Match.com. I was a little nervous in the beginning because Iwas shocked at how gorgeous she was( I had never done online dating before). Well, we went to a wine bar in NYC, and met up around 630 we stayed there until 12 and polished off 2 bottles of wine and honestly it was amazing conversation. I was nervous but eventually put my arm around her, which she was totally cool with. We both shared a cab to the train station,when I had to leave, I gave her a pretty passionate kiss,( which she seemed OK with). She has still been emailing me and texting me since the date, did I go to far, or was that totally cool to do?

if she's still emailing you and stuff, then i'm assuming the date went well. i would calm down on the alcohol--TWO BOTTLES, a tad much.

play it cool and see where this goes. do not always have alcohol on the dates because you need to feel comfortable around each other without the extra social lubericate.

dont put all your eggs in this one date. there are plenty of other women out there and you're single and need to look around.

i also would talk on the phone; emails and text messages are so impersonal these days.
